Resolution is based on the final 2026 gross data from Box Office Mojo as of December 31, 2026. Only revenue earned within 2026 counts toward the total. In case of an exact tie, the film with the alphabetically first title wins. If reliable data isn't available by January 7, 2027, an alternative credible source will be used.
